In order to revive the classic RPG "MADO MONOGATARI" after so many years had passed, we acquired assistance from both the rights holder, D4 Enterprise, and the previous Compile creators as we created the game.
Also, thanks to help from SEGA, many familiar characters from the Puyo series will return. I'm sure that fans of the previous MADO MONOGATARI games and new fans alike will enjoy the game.
Please enjoy a new installment of MADO MONOGATARI with a new protagonist, Fia.

Kazunari Yonemitsu
I would have never dreamed that I would be an advisor for the MADO world 35 years ago.
My greatest achievement might have been advising that someone who has a much stronger understanding of MADO, Oda, should join the project, as my MADO project already pushed compliance boundaries.
Sunaho Tobe's characters are cute, more characters have been revived, and the opening movie is wonderful. I'm looking forward to it.
My oshi* is Fia.
*"Oshi" is Japanese slang for "favorite."

Kenji Oda
I was very surprised to hear that MADO MONOGATARI was being revived after 30 years, but I lent my help as someone involved with the series in the past.
Both Yonemitsu-san and I supervised mostly the story and the "MADO-like" feeling.
Initially, I was also asked to write a short story, but due to circumstances beyond my control, I was unable to bring one to life... In its place, I provided the data for the unreleased "MADO Card Game" (you can get it in the Deluxe Edition*!).
This has also changed for various reasons, but if there are any generous people who wish to play the original games, please do visit "Hiroshima's Monozukuri Gym**" (laugh).
All that is to say, I'll be happy if you enjoy the new MADO MONOGATARI!
P.S. For me, my oshi is Eska.
*The MADO Card Game is exclusively for the Japanese Deluxe Edition.
**"Hiroshima's Monozukuri Gym" refers to Oda's school for creators who live in or around Hiroshima.
Character Design
Sunaho Tobe
I'm Sunaho Tobe, and I was in charge of character design.
It couldn't be exactly the same as the original MADO MONOGATARI series, but I did my best to build on each character's lines in my own way, so I hope those who play the game will come to be fond of them.
I like all of the main characters, but I think I favor Leena and Totto.
Also, the carrot inside of Momomo's backpack was originally drawn to fill space in the design, but I got attached to it and drew expressions that I wasn't requested to do (laughing).
Sub-Character Design
Shinichiro Otsuka
I was in charge of character design for Yurku and Myu.
I had been involved a little bit with the MADO MONOGATARI series in the past, so I put a lot of effort into my designs.
I hope you like them!
Sub-Character Design
Katsumi Enami
I was in charge of character design for Gareld and Vesta.
I think Vesta in particular is a design imbued with a lot of my personal tastes.
I've never been in charge of characters from MADO MONOGATARI games, so I'm very happy I was given this opportunity.
I wish to enjoy this game together with the fans who have been deeply supporting MADO MONOGATARI.
Sub-Character Design
Ichi
I was given the character concept for the "Dragon Father," and I proposed several design ideas.
The Dragon Father design they chose among those moves like a stuffed animal, but still exudes the energy of an old man.
I've taken a liking to him.
I'm looking forward to Dragon Father's exploits within the story!
Music
k.h.d.n.
I'm not from the generation that was directly and intricately involved with the MADO series,
but I did grow up in an era with Disc Station* and similar items, so I was happy when this project was brought to me.
I listened to the previous music as much as possible, and I thought about what kind of sound would be good for today's time, and what that sound would be... Together with Rinkou, we created pieces that only we could create.
I sincerely hope that anyone playing this game will have fun and feel hopeful, even if only a little bit.
—Mochiri
I thought back to my seniors, juniors, and colleagues, and composed these pieces while imagining how they might have created them.
I feel like I've brought out that variety and style of not knowing whether something is serious or playful, which is very MADO MONOGATARI.
Please enjoy this new MADO MONOGATARI that's full of 26 years of feelings.
—Rinkou
*Disc Station is a series of magazines that Compile published that contained small digital programs/games, including MADO MADOGATARI games.
